Re: [Sheflug] Linux developments

I'm Game :) (ok bad pun)

Seriously though, I think RPG maybe simpler to start off with, I have
little experience with such matters, but I beleive you need to give
serious thought to performance on the old FPS and we'dd probably end up
delving into the deepend with the likes of Open GL and so on. I've been
playing around with SVGAlib and that seems simple enough to use and
might be a good place to start off with, but the beauty of RPG is we can
always start off with the good old command line interface until we
really get something up and going.

The Sheflug Meeting on Saturday would definatly be a good place to meet
up for a brain storming session as well as recruiting others who may
possibly interested, and the developers mailing list that Richard
Suggested would definatly be a good place to post some more ideas.

Certainly I'd look forward to discussing more at the Sheflug Meeting on
Saturday. Guess now you can consider yourself having at least one
friend that runs linux ! :)
