Call me a cynic too then. I am signed up with pretty much every agency I
could find, nationwide, and I haven't heard anything more than 'there's lots
of jobs available in your sector! stick with us! we'll get you somewhere!'
I've been promised 4 interviews on the strength of these interviews, and not
a _single one_ has ever come through with a date, or even the name or address
of an (prospective) employer.
What with cheating and 'creative advertising' in the agencies, coupled with
incompetent management in many firms who claim they need 'top notch' IT
staff, prove that IT is not a glamour career.If you're not in it for the love
of it, you're best off out!
Like I said, just my cynical self wondering why I need to where a dress shirt
for a programming job...
