Hi Alan,

There's a Shefflug thread from a year or so ago called "NFS the hard
way" in which I found out a method to clone one h/d to another with
floppy disk boots and a crossover cable. If this is the sort of thing
you're thinking about, and you don't have any luck trawling through your
no-doubt amazingly comprehensive Shefflug archive I'll send you more
details. The actual command you can use to dub off an image of a disk
partition is "dd" - but you know this already, I guess.
