It seems I should have read some more of my email mountain before replying,
but further to the suggestion earlier (james?) of an fstab entry, here is
mine (all supermounty and that)
/mnt/cf /mnt/cf supermount
dev=/dev/sda1,fs=vfat,--,iocharset=iso8859-15,umask=0,sync,codepage=850 0 0
Mounts and syncs automatically, so you can plug in, copy files, and unplug
without having to mount/unmount. I know this to work on Mandrake 8.2,
although anything with supermount should support it.
I love supermount :)
