You may also like to use "mirrordir" (see its man page) or, preferably,
"rsync" with SSH as the transport client: eg:
rsync -vaz -e "ssh -1 " sheflug [at] cagiva.ctanet.fr:www /home/pdm/work/sheflug
rsync has the advantage or transferring only changed parts of files rather
than the whole lot every time!
