I want to give my users access to a couple of SMB shares on a Maxtor 
MaxAttach networked RAID server. This is easy enough in itself and not a 
problem. However, the users will be new to linux, only having experienced 
Windoze in the past. Therefore, I don't want them having to mess around 
manually mounting and unmounting the SMB shares. If I put a line in the 
boot.local script, this gets run before the networking is set up so 
obviously fails.

Could someone please suggest the best way to achieve my goal here please.
