I'm afraid my feeble little brain cell isn't too good at smbmount.  
But, the above looks like it might not work.  Try 'man smbmount'  
'man samba' as an intro.

I've got a load of books about this but none of them give the correct 
syntax.  In Samba Server Administration by R Smith published by Sybex 
it says in chapter 7....  ...  smbmount  //server/share  /mountpoint  
[-o options] ....

this probably doesn't help but I can't type in twenty pages from a 
book.  One other thing is that smbmount syntax has changed in recent 
versions so you might need to watch out for that one as well.
