I had this argument with Matt Fairtlough.  There's nothing wrong with 
running without a monitor.  But, if it's still attached and switched 
on then you can watch a break in attempt and learn from it.

I've got a really small b/w monitor that escaped from a skip that I 
use for the meetings at the HH.  Works very well :)
