Wasn't there a "trick" where all you had to do is to cat
/usr/bin/mosterapplication > /dev/null at boot-up, so that the massive
file would be read into memory and stay in the cache? I guess that
with massive use of DLLs this is probably a thing of the past (i.e.,
KDE loads the KDE libraries when you launch it, no point in launching
say... kshishen so that it speeds up :-D).
