[Sheflug] Memory issues
I'm finding that OOo running in KDE3 is a little sluggish on some of our
machines. Some of these boxes have 64MB RAM and others have 96MB. I know
this is probably not enough and I'm looking to increase to 128MB min.
across the board. However, what other ways can I save some memory here and
there?
Obviously, run as few services as necessary but I wondered if reducing the
number of virtual terminals that /etc/inittab spawns would have any
appreciable effect. That would obviously be an easy change to do.
Any suggestions?
Steve
