There is some truth here, and it does require compromise in layout on 
occasions.

The web is a crock because people make use of proprietry coding when it 
is not needed, in certain circumstances yes standards and lag beyind 
requirements but often this is not the case.


but for high profile services like IF, I think I should be able to go to 
there web site and be able to access the "login" link on their home page 
which I can't at present.
