    As far as I can tell, Sheffield Hallam offers a number of
Linux/Unix admin courses, PHP and the like. They tend to be oriented
towards industry, and therefore, are expensive.

    Sheffield U will offer (depending on funding et al.) a course on
PHP and MySQL (<ego>which at present, I am suppossed to teach </ego>).
I have inquired about Linux/Unix courses, but one major problem is
equipment: you need to have the resources to do it, and just running
the course for maximum 20 people doesn't justify (unless, ofcoz, you
get some extra cash from somewhere else).

    It seems to me that unless you get involvement with the DTI or
somesuch ("skills shortage", no, hang on, "*skills*" :D) things look
tough. 

    Just my 0.02EUR :-)
