Just in the process of install SuSE7.0 at the moment. It all seems to be
going sweetly so hopefully, when I upgrade it to SuSE 8.0, everything will
still work.
Actually, I had a problem with another box which seemed to install OK but
then threw up all sorts of spurious and apparently unconnected problems. As
a "clutching at straws" kind of reaction, I installed SuSe 6.3 (couldn't
put my hands on the SuSE 7.0 disks at the time) and then upgraded to SuSE
8.0. Everything seems to be fine and in fact much smoother than some other
boxes I have.
