Nope, they're both fixed (it's not exactly a _small_ laptop).  But yes,
I will just keep plugging away at excluding irq/ports in
/etc/pcmcia/config.opts until something happens I guess.

btw, thank you for the SMC Barricade recommendation.  Woah, what a nice
piece of kit for the price!  Just need to read the doc you gave me to
work out how to port forward etc.  But for now I don't have the constant
hum upstairs anymore just to be online, and it did only take a few mins
to setup - once I got myself on the same sub!!! hehe, that's what took
the time, working out maybe I should get on 192.168.1 and off 192.168.0
:)
