[Sheflug] Laptop pending!

Hi all,

Long time no speak, as they say :-)

I've finally splashed-out and ordered a laptop PC. It's an Acer Travelmate
422XC, P4 2GHz, with a DVD/CD-RW combo, built-in ethernet and v90 modem, and
256MB RAM.

It must have <cough> WindowsXP Pro, but I intend to make this a dual-boot
option, alongside Mandrake (which I've grown to like).

Can anyone foresee any problems I may encounter? or have any advice to offer?

I may chicken-out of the install until I can get along to one of your
meetings!
