I didn't realise there was ever a fight ;-) Searching for GUI's for rsync came up with nothing - the closest I found was http://freshmeat.net/projects/syncfs/?topic_id=860%2C861 (although I've never used it). Although if you did use Rsync, you can stick the command in a quick shell script, and add a graphical launcher for it (or whatever the kde term is).
