My own favourites are NetBSD which is great with ISDN.  Easy to 
configure.  And OpenBSD which is highly secure as Chris says.  Nice 
man pages as well.  Wim Vandeputte always tries to help me when I ask 
him questions.  He's the OpenBSD Euro team leader and all round Euro 
security expert.  All the BSDs are much more sophisticated then they 
used to be.  You can even use them as a desktop with KDE, Gnome, 
Windowmaker ... etc..

Still got the OpenBSD 3.2 CDs at a discount price of £25 and the 
posters and t-shirts at £10 each.
