Turned it down to 8.0 but now find that since SpadderAssassin is
started as 'spamd -d -c -a' I can't find a way to restart it.
Tried ....
kill `pgrep spamd`
bash: kill: (3160) - Operation not permitted
kill 3160
bash: kill: (3160) - Operation not permitted
kill `pgrep spamassassin`
kill: usage: kill [-s sigspec | -n signum | -sigspec] [pid | job]...
or kill -l [sigspec]
kill -l spamd
bash: kill: spamd: invalid signal specification
kill -l spamassassin
bash: kill: spamassassin: invalid signal specification
Not happening. So, how do I restart spamd to reset the local.cf file
into memory ? If I try 'spamassassin --p' the command line stands
still. Instead of /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf should I have a
user_prefs file in my ~/home directory ?
Thanks
Richard
