[Sheflug] SAMBA directory problem
Hi All,
I wonder if there is a limit on directory size for smbfs mounted
filesystem?
We have RedHat 8 (with samba-2.2.8a-1) mounting shares from W2K server.
One of the folders on W2k machine has about 2000 files in it and when
issuing 'ls' from Linux it won't show anything!
Files are definitely there and all other folders in the same directory
are also fine and visible from Linux.
mounting command I use:
mount -t smbfs -o ip=<my2k IP>,username=Administrator,password=<admin
password> //W2k/SharedFolder /mnt/smb
Specifying bigger ttl value (ttl=10000ms) did not help.
I am sure it's not a security problem, because it's showing directory
listing if I repeatedly issue 'ls' (once in 10 times).
Any help and advice is very much appreciated.
Best regards,
Denis.
