I do agree with the need for an alternative navigation option. Even on my ADSL 
the JAVA takes a few seconds to download. Using JAVA is hardly a microshaft 
thing but I see your point, it is a bit fancy for some users.

But it is their website and I assume that they don't want/expect people using 
text browsers to have a look at the site :-( you cannot always provide all 
things to all people!
