At the moment I've got an XP Pro machine with a broadband connection to
the Internet and I'm running Proxy+ which enables other users on the
network to connect to the Internet and it also downloads there emails
and acts as an SMTP server.

I'm trying to find what the Linux alternatives are.  If anyone's got any
ideas I'd appreciate it.  I'm currently running Mandrake 9.1.
