Hi,

I can't help with that specific card, but I can suggest an alternative. I
recently picked up an Airway PCMCIA card on eBay for £15 (well, £20 including
delivery). Put it in my laptop (running Mandrake 9.1) and it picked it up as
eth1 during the boot.

I went into Drak to configure the card. It prompted me to put a CD in,
installed a couple of packages and everything worked. All
automatic/graphical - probably easier than Windows.

The only slightly trickier bit was getting the card to use encrypted mode on
boot, where I did have to find the right text file and edit it, putting the
key in. Having done that, it works perfectly (also picked up my Linksys
wireless router for £75 on eBay and that seems to be happy too).

Iain.
