My Netgear stuff tries to use the orinoco_cs module on a clean install,
but that has never worked so far. I've always needed to go for the
linux-wlan.org - that have cleanly worked for me (though kernel-source
is required to build the additional kernel module).

The linux-wlan stuff is only for PRISM2 chipsets AFAIK.
