I haven't actually managed any Linux expos etc to date - but I do hope 
too soon. The community is very active, they have some great forums and 
mailing lists to get help with any problems you might have. There is 
also the fact they they already have an ebuild for OpenOffice 1.1 and 
Gnome 2.4 out!

I used to be predominantly a Red Hat user but that is now only left on 1 
of my machines. The rest are running Gentoo, and dual boot Win2k for 
work purposes...
