It depends how do you extend 'in principle' :)
Ximian red-carpet is pure GUI if I am not mistaken.
May be there is a text version exist, not sure. Default app is GUI only 
and not a wrapper around other package managers.

It was actually first linux I've installed long time ago on my then 386 
PC with 4Mb - really cool distro.
Then I've stopped using it because of a lack of time I can spend on 
installation/configuration of the system "just as I like" :)
