Sounds a little too much like hard work to me. Paying attention? Wot? :-)

Debian's newer release cycle system could be a major plus. Stable is
stale most of the time. BSD-eque 6 monthly releases would be grand.

Again, "configuration" eq "hard work". If nothing else, having to set
up Debian is a once in a lifetime thing (unfortunately if I kill a box
I can't remember what I did many moons ago :-).

Ah, so Fedora is a living breathing thing, not some vapourware number
