I'm aware of the old problem with FAT32 partitions but, at least on
Windows, it's no longer a problem. Perhaps Linux still has the problem?

It's strange that Mandrake 9.1 used the partition perfectly and 9.2
doesn't even look like it supports it!

I'm afraid I don't think I'll be able to get memory sticks of 5Gb and if
I can, I don't think I can afford it at the moment. :-)
The 5Gb is needed cause I can't cut DVD's in Linux, I have to use
Windows.
I could probably get away with having a 4Gb FAT32 partition, but, I'm a
bit wary about buggering about with partitions on the same drive as my
Linux. If I did that I'll have to create more than one 4Gb shared
partition with Windows which will renumber my Linux partitions. I can't
afford the time it will take to get all my data back if I bugger Linux
up!
