We use cygwin to run an x server on windows.

Our tape jukebox hangs off a solaris box, so we use cygwin to get an xserver
running on the NT desktops

http://www.cygwin.com/

there are some instructions and stuff at http://www.cygwin.com/xfree/

and ssh -X to the solaris box, fire up the jukebox management software and
the display is rendered on the NT desktop.

If you want to get Windows Desktops on Linux clients.
http://www.rdesktop.org/ is a windows rdp client for unix.
