I've done this before with maildir format (1 file per message), where you
just have to cat the message and pipe it into procmail, but if it's in mbox
format you'll need to use the formail program first. This should work, but
I've not tried it for a while, so make a backup just in case.
cat /var/spool/mail/mbox | formail -s procmail
