Just done some house keeping including updating my
suse 8.2 boxes to the latest patches from suse.
All went fine, until I have now noticed some mail
bouncing which shouldn`t.
To cut a very long story short. (I have been
googling all morning over this one!) Postfix has been updated.
Postfix was converting all mail addresses to lower
case, however now it doesn`t. So if someone sends me
and email as Rob@ rather than rob@ cyrus bounces
it.
The later version of cyrus (which is case
insensitive) is not available as a suse 8.2 package, which leaves
me
with the suggestion of using a regular expression
in postfix to change all the addresses to lowercase.
However I don`t know how to do that!
Can anyone suggest what I need to do?
Cheers
Rob Keeling
