How do I run Fsck? I re-configured Mandrake not to boot X, logged on to
root and entered fsck, but it tells me I need to unmount the file system to do
this and running will cause damage if I don’t. I think I have problems, in KDE I can search for a file say *atlantis* (for the xsreensaver atlantis
module), KDE finds it, but then when I try to do something with the file it
says it doesn’t exist also parts of the directory structure are not appearing,
but I can cd to them in a terminal.
I haven’t crashed my machine (this time) and thought everything had been
running smoothly since my install of 9.2. Thanks Steve |
