Hi all, long time no speak.  I hope you are enjoying your linux
experiences.

Has anyone had any problems with telewest/blueyonder cable access?  They
seem to have changed their dn server addresses for cable users, without
telling anyone.  First I knew, dns no longer worked through firewall, so
I thought it was a problem at my end: it doesn't seem to be (the dns
servers just told me to get lost, which I discovered when I changed the
policy to accept packets from them).  [Why it continued to work from the
firewall is a mystery to me]

I have put in some addresses designed for dialup users but it isn't the
right way to fix things.

Their determination to drive away any non PC/Mac users and to discourage
any Mac users seems quite strong.
