complete Windows session in a window on Linux. It works very well and is
one way to move to Linux for most things without having to leave every
application behind.

Thanks for that Seb,

Why would I need a licence for Windows 98? I have a second user built
machine which came loaded with Windows 98. I have been told about Win4lin,
but am strapped for cash at present (recently forked out alot to have the
machine repaired). I have only just installed Redhat 9 and am still unable
to get online, so I am sorting that at the moment

My other option is to get them their own machine with Windows on.

I will probably email the Learning Company to ask them about software for
Linux.

The bit about Wine was over my head, however I would be willing to send a
couple of the games to you if I knew I would get them back. If you could
let me have an address.

Regards

Janet
