[Sheflug] Community content management systems - Midgard

Anyone there with any experience of using content management systems such as 
Midgard?

I had developed my own system a couple of years ago which works well enough 
but needed further work to make it a more polished product. Was considering 
getting involved with Midgard then but my work on this had to take a back 
seat in favour of earning a living. Now looking at these again seriously for 
community intranet use. Also looked at ez-publish as an alternative but this 
appears to be moving more towards a Windows based product.

Need something like Midgard which is preferably based on LAMP - I have a lot 
of content to port across, I already understand how to do this with LAMP & I  
could also probably help to extend Midgard. For the benefit of the local 
community whatever is selected should be GPL'd.

Any thoughts?
