I did the internet configuration wizard first off.  It seems such a long
time ago now. It said when probing for modem, that it didn't find one.  I
have set up the details in Evolution and the internet browser, but they
don't work.  I then set it to ttyS3 instead of ttyS0, but that didn't make
any difference.

Since my last mail I have installed the driver which was very painless.  I
just clicked and it said did I want to execute and it installed.

I'm going away to carry out the various instructions, If it doesn't work I
shall bring it tomorrow.  I'll just bring the box, monitor, keyboard and
mouse.  I shall also bring all the various bits of paper with advice I have
been given.

If that doesn't sort it I'm getting an external serial modem.  I've been
told virtually anyone will work.
