Re: [Sheflug] Printing issue
Seb
Many thanks for the reply
I used cancel to cancel the job but will try to remember lprm next time
this happens in case it's better at deleting from the spool.
For the record: I disconnected both the power supply and the cable from
the printer, left it for a bit and then put it all back and it *still*
kept going. (Aaarrgh!)
In the end I disconnected, rebooted, went and had a cup of tea and came
back and plugged it back in; now it's sitting there behaving itself. At
least for the moment !
And I still have some hair left :))
While I am here I have a further question.
I'm using thunderbird as a mail client and get digests from the group.
If I go to reply to a message that appears in the digest by hitting the
reply button, I get the first message with '>' but none of the remainder
of the digest. This is fine if I want to reply to the first message but
absolutely hopeless otherwise.
I wonder how other people manage?
Lesley
