Generally, if you switch the printer off for a few seconds and also
cancel the print job using lprm then the job should vanish. Unless the
Epson holds the print data in a non-volatile store, that will work.
We have an HP9300 here, which I was delighted to find sporting a real
and functional print job cancel button! You do still need to lprm
pending jobs, though, and I do still occasionally get printing funnies.
