Hi all,

My external modem arrived at the weekend and I have been trying to get it to
work.  I haven't had much joy with Windows or RedHat 9.

I have set it up with the Internet Configuration Wizard.  When I click on
activate I get 'failed to activate ppp0 with error 8'.

I also noticed when it tried to activate lights flashed on the modem.  Any
suggestions?
