In the past 18 months Novell, a traditional specialist in file,
print and identity management, has taken a bold leap into the Linux
space and has acquired its own Linux distribution - SUSE, and Linux
desktop management through Ximian. They have also contributed to
Open Source with such programs as ifolder. With a new Linux desktop
planned and full, desktop to server support in place Novell is
setting itself up as an industry leader in the Linux space.
