Hi

Whilst the subject of an IRC channel seems to have died out and people 
don't want to use a chat room we found that Brett Royles and someone 
else showed interest in a chat room or IRC at last weeks meeting.

So, if you want to use IRC a channel exists. You can use it.  I can 
let you have the address if you want to use it. There is also a test

which could be turned into a permanent feature if people show interest 
and we get more than two people using it.  I can produce an IRC page 
with info about IRC if people want it.  The previous failed attempt 
which came into being after a request was made by some people is at..

But, no one ever showed any interest in this even after a request was 
made for its creation.  Some discussion may be a useful thing.
