Hi,

Whilst I was away camping.  I got into a discussion one evening around the
fire about Linux.  Someone gave me this example, using Linux is like:-


You hear about this wonderful airline, top notch, brillant safety record,
never had an accident, do excellent service.  So your impressed and book a
flight.

You get to the airport, the service is amazing, beautiful stewardesses. Your
luggage is handled with great care, booking in is a breeze.

You get on the plane and the stewardess takes you to your seat, you arrive
at the spot..........

..............
...................
.......to find your seat in pieces the stewardess hands you the manual and
walks away.  You look through the manual and put your seat together.  When
you are finished you sit down in the ace seat and finish your wonderful
flight to your destination.

When you get home you tell everyone about this wonderful airline and how
they must give it a go. You tell them about the manual and putting the seat
together and they look at you as if you are mad.
