I have been on this list for quite some time, still call myself a Linux novice but who is very grateful for the copious amounts of help and patience I've had from various inhabitants of this list. I don't recall any "trouble" though, or people being "moved" to any other list, with or without their consent. This of course, may not have been shouted from the rooftops so I may have no reason to remember it.
