Thing is, this is just business to a company such as Sun. From that
point of view it's hard to see what they've done wrong per se - they
could always look out for the community but then their competitors don't
tend to care about that either and they want to protect their own neck.
The community will freely slag off Sun for being two faced her - but
maybe this was just a minor footnote on a giant deal agreed by teams of
lawyers for both parties. Why would Sun want to offer indemnification
for non paying users of OpenOffice? Should they do that?
