I've got a Creative Webcam Pro (USB) which appears as an "Omnivision Inc
OV511+ webcam" doing an 'lsusb' which works fine. It's supported by v4l
- I use it for gardencam.co.uk (shameless plug :-)
It's a few years old though. If it helps, the model# is PD1030
The other alternative may be to rig up a couple of camcorders with
firewire if you can get 'em. Although I've never tried it, I wouldn't
mind betting the interfacing is easier because 1394 is a better defined
standard with no chipset variations, unlike USB webcams.
