It means using another box but you could install ipcop with the dans
guardian plug in.  That way they HAVE to go through your IPCOP box unless
they recable and reassign network addresses.  Of course if you don't have a
spare box...

there are plug ins to shut down IP the IPCOP machine after so many minutes
of 'non activity' to save on power and I've seen some 5 way extensions now
where power to 4 of the sockets is controlled by a the level of current
drawn from the master.  If the master is off so are the others  (eg switch
off your tv and the vcr, satelite, digibox, dolby5.1 amp etc all go off at
the same time.)
