That's quite interesting. I know from past experiences that Outlook
mailboxes (.pst files?) are very brittle. Microsoft provided a tool
(with Office, I think) called the "Mailbox Repair Tool" or somesuch -
and I don't know how much corruption this tool would expect, but you
could feed it *any* file and it would turn it into a valid Outlook
mailbox. That suggests to me that there isn't really much error checking
or data validation that you can reasonably do with these files :(
