recommend reading that whole document so you know what some of the terms
are.

It's not necessarily 100% easy, but it's not as hard as it looks. The
main thing is to alter the user_prefs that have C:\\ locations to point
at the Linux system - so C:\\whatever\\wherever will turn into something
like /home/me/.mozilla. Make sure all the \\ get turned into / too ;)
