Haven't I seen this "battle" before?

I have 4 XP installations all running smoothly.
I have 2 Linux boxes, all running smoothly.

I am using both. I have occasional problems with both. I am used to it,
although I do not like it.

Nothing beats windows in some areas (Device compatibility, application
installation, etc), and although Linux has gone at great lengths at
improving, it still lacks on these areas.

On the other side, I cannot tweak Windows to run as efficient as Linux, or
have the support I get with Linux.

Nothing beats Windows as a gaming machine, but Windows will never be as
reliable as Linux in its "Server Duties".

I am a man, torn apart. The internal battles of the OSs will drive me back
to my abacus.
