Yes - that would be one solution to this issue - & I looked at this briefly 
yesterday. Unless I am mistaken it seems that any images and other uploads in 
Mambo are not integrated into the database, but simply exist as files in 
directories on the server. A simple gallery module would then work OK.

I was expecting a bit more sophistication on this e.g. images and other 
assets being referenced through the database to avoid users having to create 
and manage unique filenames.
