[Sheflug] Delay In Loading Web Pages

Hi,

I have returned to using Linux fulltime after a few eventful months 
contributing to Bills pension.

I am now using Suse 9.3 which is working wonderfully except for one little 
annoying habit.

It does not matter what web browser I use there is, more often than not, a 
time lag (+- 30sec) between clicking on a bookmark and it starting to 
download. Once I am in-site clicking on a link brings the usual almost 
instant response depending on the time of day. I have tried Windows on the 
same hardware setup and the lag is not there, which leads me to looking at my 
set-up.

I have a simple KDE setup with direct link to my ISP via a netgear 
firewall/router. No on site servers setup.

Any idea's as to what the problem might be? I have googled and look on the 
Suse forum but no answer there yet?
